A few dozen bays in an empty building is a short job; a multi-aisle system in a live Sugar Land or League City operation is phased and takes longer. We give you a schedule in writing with the quote, after the site walk, once we know the slab condition, the permit path and whether the steel is on hand. We will not guess at a duration before we have seen the floor.

We do. Texas does not enforce a commercial building code at the state level, so the submittal goes to whichever city or county office owns your parcel — for example the City of Sugar Land, the City of League City, the City of Texas City, or the county when the building sits outside city limits. Channelview is unincorporated Harris County, where the county fire code requires a construction permit and an operational permit once high-piled combustible storage passes 500 sq ft, and the operational permit is renewed every year. For every other office we confirm its current thresholds directly before drawings go out, instead of repeating a number from a neighboring town.

Yes. Occupied-building installs are normal work for us. We release one aisle or zone at a time, barricade the work area, and stage steel away from travel lanes so lift trucks keep moving. Where daytime disruption is not acceptable, we plan night or weekend shifts and agree the sequence with your operations lead before the first frame is stood up.

We install teardrop and structural systems from the major North American producers — Steel King, Interlake Mecalux, UNARCO, Ridg-U-Rak, Frazier and others — and pick the line that suits your loads, clear height and budget. For heavy coast-side work such as drummed product or pipe near the Ship Channel, structural rack or cantilever is often the better call.
